This privacy notice for Hyphensocial and its affiliated entities ("we", "us", "our", “Hyphensocial” or the “Company”), describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your information when you access and use the online partner marketing platform (“Platform”), our website at www.contentconnections.io (the “Site”), and any other products or services, websites media, features, content, software products, events, contests, and promotions, facilitated through the Site, the Platform, and their associated service platforms, including any improvements, developments, or modifications thereto provided by Hyphensocial through the Platform (collectively, the “Services”).
Reading this privacy notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services.
1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
While accessing our Services we collect certain information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Information”). The Personal Information we collect can include the following, which for reference is categorized under the letters set forth in the California Privacy Rights Act (California Civil Code 1798.140(v)(1):
(A) Identifiers such as a real name, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, or other similar identifiers.
(B) Any personal information described in subdivision (e) of California Civil Code Section 1798.80, including name, address, debit card number, and credit card number.
(C) Commercial information, including records of products or services purchased or obtained
(D) Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history and information regarding a consumer's interaction with our Site.

Personal information you disclose to us
We collect Personal Information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.
All Personal Information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Information we automatically collected
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. Like many businesses and in accordance with Section 4 below, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies.
2. HOW DO WE USE INFORMATION WE COLLECT?
We use your Personal Information for the following purposes, and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection:
- Delivery of Services. We may use your Personal Information in order to achieve our legitimate business interest of delivering Services you request or to fulfill contractual obligations to you.
- Direct Marketing. With your consent, we may use your Personal Information to send you our related marketing communications as permitted by law. You will have the ability to opt-out of our marketing and promotional communications by following the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our marketing communications.
- Site Optimization. We use analytics and search engine providers to assist us in the improvement and optimization of our Services and provide information to providers such as Google for these purposes.
- To comply with laws and regulations. We may use your Personal Information as we believe necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities.
- For compliance, fraud prevention, and safety. We may use your Personal Information and disclose it to law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties as we believe necessary or appropriate to: (a) protect our, your or others’ rights, privacy, safety or property (including by making and defending legal claims); (b) audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements; and (c) protect, investigate and deter against fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity, including cyber-attacks and identity theft.
- For any other purpose you consent to at the time of collection. Provided that if we intend to subsequently use your Personal Information for a different purpose, we will obtain your consent for such different purpose.
3. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We may share your Personal Information, for the purposes outlined above, with the following categories of recipients:
Service providers. We share your Personal Information with service providers to enable such parties to perform functions on our behalf and under our instructions in order to carry out the purposes identified above (e.g., information technology services, information storage and security, payment processing, fraud detection, marketing management and communications, customer service functions, statistical analysis).
Affiliated Companies. We may also share your Personal Information with our subsidiaries, affiliates and other related companies for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy and providing you with our Services.
Business reorganization. We may share your Personal Information with any corporate purchaser or prospect to the extent permitted by law as part of any merger, acquisition, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, as well as in the event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which Personal Information would be transferred as an asset of Company.
Mandatory Disclosures and Legal Rights. We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal or governmental request for information. We also share Personal Information to establish or protect our legal rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others, or to defend against legal claims.
We do not sell your Personal Information and will not do so in the future without providing you with notice. We may disclose your Personal Information for the following purposes, which are not a sale: (i) if you direct us to share your Personal Information, (ii) disclosures as part of a merger or asset sale, and (iii) as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law. Similarly, we do not offer financial incentives associated with our collection, use, or disclosure of your Personal Information.
4. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
We, as well as third parties that provide content, advertising, or other functionality on our Services, may use cookies, pixel tags, local storage, and other technologies ("Technologies") to automatically collect information when you interact with the Services. We use Technologies that are essentially small data files placed on your computer, tablet, mobile phone, or other devices (referred to collectively as a "device") that allow us to record certain pieces of information whenever you visit or interact with our sites, services, applications, messaging, and tools, and to recognize you across devices. Some Technologies help us maintain the security of our Services, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions.
Cookies. Cookies are small text files placed in visitors' computer browsers to store their preferences. Most browsers allow you to block and delete cookies. However, if you do that, the Services may not work properly.
Pixel Tags/Web Beacons. A pixel tag (also known as a web beacon) is a piece of code embedded on the Services that collects information about users' engagement on that web page. The use of a pixel allows us to record, for example, that a user has visited a particular web page or clicked on a particular advertisement.
Google Analytics and Adwords. We use Google tools like Google Analytics and Google Adwords to understand user interactions with our website. These services use cookies or other tracking technologies to help us analyze usage, compile activity reports, and provide additional services. The information collected may include your IP address, time of visit, return visitor status, referring website, general location, and other data. Google Analytics offers an opt-out option here.
JavaScript Enabled on pages. Publishers that work with Company can enable our code on their webpages. The JavaScript has the following functionalities: (a) the collection and storage of information (including impressions and clicks) that are used for performance marketing and on-page optimization, (b) the collection and tracking of information about the webpage to provide marketing information to the relevant brands that Company services, and (c) tracking the attribution revenue and the user’s actions across multiple affiliate platforms, including but not limited to, Amazon Attribution, Impact and more.

If you would like to opt-out of the Technologies we employ on our sites, services, applications, or tools, you may do so by blocking, deleting, or disabling them as your browser or device permits as outlined in Section 11 below.
5. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?
Our Services offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (like your Facebook or X logins). Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile information we receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, email address, friends list, and profile picture, as well as other information you choose to make public on such a social media platform.
We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this privacy notice or that are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant Services. Please note that we do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party social media provider. We recommend that you review their privacy notice to understand how they collect, use, and share your personal information, and how you can set your privacy preferences on their sites and apps.
6. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?
Our Services are global and your information (including Personal Information) may be stored and processed in any country where we have operations or where we engage service providers, and we may transfer your information to countries outside of your country of residence, which may have data protection rules that are different from those of your country of residence. By submitting your Personal Information to us or to a third-party via our Sites or Services, you acknowledge that you will be voluntarily transferring your Personal Information to a jurisdiction which may not provide the same privacy framework as other regions. If you live in the European Economic Area (the “EEA”), the Personal Information that we collect from you may therefore be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the EEA. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers or partners. By submitting your Personal Information, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing outside of the EEA. We take steps to ensure that the data we collect under this Privacy Policy is stored and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where the data is located.
7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
8. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?
We take our responsibility to protect your information very seriously. While no data transmission is guaranteed to be 100% secure, we use reasonable and appropriate security measures and practices to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and destruction.
9. WHAT PRIVACY CONTROLS DO I HAVE AS A USER?
At Hyphensocial we put our customers first and respect your ability to exercise your privacy rights and choices. Where possible, we give you control over the personal data we collect about you, to ensure it is accurate and reflects your preferences. This Section describes key controls for managing your privacy across our Services. You may request the follow as it pertains to any Personal Information we collect:
Request Deletion. You may request that we delete any Personal Information about you that we maintain. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.
Request Correction. You may request that we correct any inaccurate Personal Information that we maintain.
Know What Personal Information is Being Collected. You may request that we inform you of the (i) categories of Personal Information we have collected about you; (ii) categories of sources from which any Personal Information is collected; (iii) business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing any Personal Information we have collected about you; and (iv) categories of third parties to whom we have disclosed any Personal Information. The categories of Personal Information collected over the past 12 months and the categories of sources from which we collect Personal Information are outlined in the Section above entitled " WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?” The business/commercial purpose for the collected information is outlined in the Section above entitled “HOW DO WE USE INFORMATION WE COLLECT?” The categories of third parties to whom we have disclosed any Personal Information is outlined in the Section above entitled “WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?”
Access the Personal Information We Collect. You may request a copy of the Personal Information that we have collected and maintained in the period that is 12 months prior to the request date.
Know What Personal Information is Being Sold. You may request the (i) categories of Personal Information that we have sold or shared to a third party and the category of the third party to whom we sold or shared your Personal Information; and (ii) categories of Personal Information we have disclosed to a third party for a business purpose and the category of the third party to whom we disclosed your Personal Information. The categories of third parties to whom we have disclosed any Personal Information is outlined in the Section above entitled “HOW DO WE USE INFORMATION WE COLLECT?” We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties and have not sold Personal Information in the preceding 12 months.
Opt Out of Profiling and Targeted Advertising. You may opt out of the processing of your Personal Information obtained from your activities on non-affiliated websites or online applications for the purposes of targeted advertising.
Opt Out of Sale and Sharing. To the extent we sell or share Personal Information, you may direct us to opt out of that sale or sharing. We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties and have not sold Personal Information in the preceding 12 months.
Restrict Processing of Personal Information. You may request that we restrict the Processing of your personal data, under certain conditions with exceptions provided for by applicable data privacy laws.
Object to Processing of Personal Information. You may object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions with exceptions provided for by applicable data privacy laws.
Opt-Out of Sharing Personal Information with Third Parties for Marketing Purposes. You may opt-out of a company’s disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for its direct marketing purposes, to the extent we disclose your Personal Information to third parties for such purposes. It is important to note that this opt-out does not prohibit disclosures made for non-marketing purposes.
Request Data Portability. You may request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions with exceptions provided for by the applicable data privacy laws.
Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information. You have the right to request that we limit the use of your Personal Information to only uses that are necessary to perform the services or provide the goods. We do not collect sensitive personal information through the Services.
If you wish to exercise your privacy controls with regards to your Personal Information, you may request the above by submitting a verifiable consumer request to us by email at contact@contentconnections.io or at the mailing address below. Under applicable data privacy laws, you may also designate an authorized agent to make these requests on your behalf. If you use an authorized agent to submit a request, we may need to collect additional information, such as a government issued ID, to verify your identity before processing your request to protect your information. In most cases, we will facilitate your request through automated tools available through your password-protected account.
We cannot respond to your request if we are unable to verify your identity or authority. Your verifiable request must include the reference “Request for Privacy Information” in the subject line and the body of the message must: (a) provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify that you are the person whose Personal Information we have collected; (b) describe your request with sufficient detail; and (c) include an email address or mailing address, as applicable, for us to send our response. Such requests will be processed in line with applicable data privacy laws.
We strive to respond to verifiable consumer requests within 30 days; however, if we require an extension (up to an additional 60 days) we will inform you of this extension and the reason in writing. Data disclosure request will only include data collected within the 12-month period preceding the receipt of the verified request. We do not charge a fee to process requests to exercise your rights unless the requests are found to be excessive, repetitive, or unfounded.
Although Hyphensocial makes good faith efforts to provide Individuals with access to their Personal Information, there may be circumstances in which Hyphensocial is unable to provide access, including but not limited to: where the information contains legal privilege, would compromise others' privacy or other legitimate rights, where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to the Individual's privacy in the case in question or where it is commercially proprietary. If Hyphensocial determines that access should be restricted in any particular instance, we will provide you with an explanation of why that determination has been made and a contact point for any further inquiries.

10. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 11. OPT-OUT CONTROLS
General
You have the right to object to and opt out of certain uses and disclosures of your Personal Information by deleting your account. Where you have consented to the processing of your Personal Information, you may withdraw that consent and delete your account at any time and opt-out to further Processing by contacting Company at contact@contentconnections.io, or through the functionality of the Services. To the extent you opt-out of our use of Personal Information, but continue to use the Services, we may collect and use non-Personal Information such as de-identified data and publicly available information.
Email and Telephone Communications
If you receive an unwanted email from us, you can use the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of the email to opt-out of receiving future emails. We will process your request within a reasonable time after receipt. Please note: We may also send you certain non-promotional communications, however you will not be able to opt out of those communications (e.g., transactional communications, including emails about your account or products or services you have requested; and communications regarding updates to our Terms or this Privacy Policy).
“Do Not Track”
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
Cookies and Interest-Based Advertising
As noted above, you may stop or restrict the placement of cookies on your computer or remove them from your browser by adjusting your web browser preferences. Each browser is different, but many common browsers have preferences that may be adjusted to allow you to either accept or reject cookies and certain other technologies before they are set or installed, or allow you to remove or reject the use or installation of certain technologies altogether. We recommend that you refer to the “Help” menu in your browser to learn how to modify your browser settings.
The online advertising industry also provides websites from which you may opt-out of receiving targeted ads from our data partners and our other advertising partners that participate in self-regulatory programs. You can access these, and also learn more about targeted advertising and consumer choice and privacy, at Network Advertising Initiative, the Digital Advertising Alliance, the European Digital Advertising Alliance, and the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada.
To be clear, whether you are using our opt-out or an online industry opt-out, these cookie-based opt-outs must be performed on each device and browser that you wish to have opted-out. For example, if you have opted-out on your computer browser, that opt-out will not be effective on your mobile device. You must separately opt-out on each device. Advertisements on Third-Party websites that contain the AdChoices link and that link to this Privacy Policy may have been directed to you based on anonymous, non-Personal Information collected by advertising partners over time and across websites. This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of tracking technologies by third parties in connection with their websites. These third parties may use cookies or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you interact with their content on the Services. The information they collect may be associated with your Personal Information or they may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites. Please be aware that we do not control these third parties' tracking technologies or when and how they may be used. Therefore, the Company does not claim nor accept responsibility for any privacy policies, practices, or procedures of any such third party. We encourage you to read the privacy statements and terms and conditions of linked or referenced websites you enter. If you have any questions about an ad or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.
12. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?
We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date at the top of this privacy notice. If we make material changes to this privacy notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this privacy notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
